Young Living Essential Oils

Hello everyone!

Recently I became a wholesale distributor for Young Living Essential Oils.  I have wanted to try to eliminate prescription medications for a long time, and Essential Oils are definitely helping me reach that goal!

I love essential oils!  I love what they can do!  I no longer take migraine medication.  Instead, I use an essential oil blend called M-Grain, and Peppermint essential oil.  It works like a charm!  My daughter uses a supplement called SleepEssence to help her sleep and diffuses Peace and Calming blend with Lavender.  No more Melatonin for her!  Well, there is a miniscule amount in SleepEssence, but she only takes that on nights when she really has trouble sleeping.

Anyway, I am going to be posting boards with some DIY recipes using YLEO's.

Have a blessed week!

Until next time,
Barb

Welcome June, Welcome Summer!

Where does the time go?  It is June 5th.  In four days, my daughter Aubrei will be 20.  I can't believe that she will be 20 years old!  Where has the time gone?  My son, Logan, is now 22.  YIKES!  That makes me feel old!

Well, with June, hopefully we will FINALLY have summer here in Indiana.  We have definitely had our share of winter!

On April 1st, our dachshund, Amy had 5 puppies.  They all came out looking like their papa, Charlee.  All black and tan.  Some have white spots on their chests, but none of them are piebalds.  On May 23rd four of them went to new homes, so we now have 4 less puppies in the house.  Eowyn, the second born puppy, will permanently reside with us.  She has quite the personality!  Pictures of the puppies are posted with this blog.

So, happy scrapping to all of you!  May this summer bring lots of fun times to experience and to create lasting memories from.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all of you mothers out there.  I am blessed by two great kids, and some pretty great step-kids!

Today I  am thinking about my mom and missing her.  It's hard to believe that she has been gone for over seven years.  I can still hear her voice.  So for all of you who have lost a mother recently, my prayers are for comfort from God and peace in knowing that she is in a better place.

Another Milestone

I am officially a Pixels2Pages affiliate!  That means that if you click on the link to the left on my blog to join Pixels2Pages, and sign up for a membership, you will become part of an amazing group with "Pixies" who are licensed trainers in Panstoria Artisan, and Historian (also former Storybook Creator and Memory Manager).  Every month you get a bunch of Blueprints (page layouts) and Pixie Dust (mini digital content kits), as well as access to all of their tutorials, tips and tricks, challenges, etc., as a part of your membership.  The possibilities are endless with the guidance of the Pixies!  And, if you sign up for a membership by clicking on the link in my blog, I will get a small commission.  So thank you in advance!

Also, I am a heritagemakers.com consultant.  So should you decide that online scrapbooking is for you, you can click on the link on my blog, which will take you to the Heritage Makers website, and when you sign up for a membership, I will be your consultant.

Look for information in the future regarding Our Memories For Life.  Heritage Makers/Youngevity's new Traditional Scrapbooking Line with none other than Rhonda Anderson, former co-founder of Creative Memories.  There is a banner on the left that you can click on, but right now, it takes you to the same place as the Heritage Makers banner.  I will update the link when Heritage Makers adds Our Memories For Life products to their page

I am officially a Panstoria Affiliate!

So, some of the reason for starting this blog is because I wanted to become an affiliate for Panstoria,  What that means is, if you click on the links for Artisan or Historian on the right side of my blog, you will be taken to the Panstoria website.  When you make purchases on Panstoria's website by way of my blog, I get a commission (thank you).  Each time you purchase this way, I will get a commission.  Note:  If you purchase by going directly to Panstoria's website, I do not get a commission.

Sooooo... Thank you in advance!

A Beginning

Hello, and welcome to my blog.  My intent for this blog is to share my passion, Digital Scrapbooking, with you.

I use Artisan by Panstoria.  It is a wonderful tool!  You do have to purchase the software though, as well as digital content, although there is a lot of free digital content out there, Panstoria sells digital kits as well.  There are also a lot of wonderful designers who create beautiful kits.

I am also a member of Pixels2Pages.net.  The "Pixies" are licensed trainers in Panstoria's Artisan, and Historian (a program that organizes your photos for you), and they are FABULOUS!  Every month, with your membership, you receive a digital kit they call "Pixie Dust", and a set of "Blueprints", which are page layouts that you drop your pictures into and add papers and embellishments.  In my opinion, the membership is well worth it for the blueprints alone.  Plus, you get access to videos, tips and tidbits, and challenges to help you learn how to use the software.  If it can be done in Artisan or Historian, the Pixies know how to do it.  They also have a Facebook page - Pixels2Pages-Facebook,  Here, you can ask all kinds of questions, and get all kinds of tips as well.  The Pixies do a great job of monitoring their page, so you can be sure you will get an answer to any question you post.

If purchasing your own software and kits isn't the way you want to go, but you would like to try digital scrapbooking, then check out Heritage Makers.  With Heritage Makers, you upload your photos to their website and create your photobooks using their online software, which includes tons of digital content.  You pay a membership fee (varying depending on level), which is turned into "Publishing Points".  When you print your project, you use those publishing points.

So whatever way you choose, there is a digital solution for you.

I hope to highlight some digital designers in the future, as well as post pages that I have created from time to time.

See you soon!
